Refund and Cancellation Policy

For Lawyers Listing Under Subscription Plans

Advocates can list themselves on Law Bandhu under different subscription plans (Free, Basic, Pro, Growth).
The following charges and policies apply:

1. Charges for Listing:

   • Plan Charges: Monthly subscription fee as per the chosen plan.

   • Security Deposit: Equivalent to one months’ plan charges (refundable under specific terms).

   • Verification Charges (If applied):

     • ₹999/- for Basic and Pro Plan members.

     • ₹1500/- for Growth Plan members (due to extensive verification and registration for LB Earnings opportunities).

   • Free Plan members are not charged for verification and do not receive an LB Verified Seal.
      

2. Verification Process:

   • Verification is conducted using submitted documents and methods, including cross-checking with respective Bar Councils and/or physical verification at provided locations.
      

3. Refund and Cancellation Policy for Lawyers:

   • Cancellation:

     • Members can close their subscription by serving a two-month advance notice.

     • The security deposit will be adjusted against the subscription charges during the notice period.
        

   • Refund Policy:

     • Non-refundable Charges: All amounts paid are non-refundable, except for claims made within 7 days of payment.

     • Refund Within 7 Days: Members claiming a refund within 7 days will be refunded the amount paid after deducting:

       • Registration/Verification Charges.

       • Charges for the days the listing was active.

Forfeiture Clause

If any details provided by a lawyer or member are found to be false, incorrect, or misleading during or after the verification process, the entire amount paid will be forfeited, and the member will be blacklisted from Law Bandhu.

Additionally:

1. Members engaged in any other profession or field, in violation of the Advocates Act, or not fully devoted to the legal profession, are strictly prohibited from joining this platform.

2. If at any time, it is discovered that the Bar Council Certificate of a member is suspended, revoked, or otherwise invalid, the same forfeiture and blacklisting consequences will apply.

This clause ensures compliance with professional and legal standards, maintaining the integrity of Law Bandhu’s platform.

For Students Enrolled in Courses on Law Bandhu

1. Cancellation:

   • Students can cancel their course subscription anytime via the portal.
      

2. Refund Policy for Students:

   • Charges for the current month will apply, irrespective of the cancellation date.

   • Any remaining balance (if applicable) will be refunded after deducting admission charges.

   • Refunds will be processed within 30 days of cancellation.
